Backend / Platform Engineer
Own the Supabase/Postgres platform: RLS policies, edge functions, payments integration, and the security posture of a financial-data product.
What you'll own
- Design Postgres schemas and airtight row-level-security policies
- Build and harden Deno edge functions (payments, webhooks, approvals, uploads)
- Own the Razorpay/RazorpayX integration through to reconciliation and ledger
- Run the observability stack: structured logs, Sentry, uptime, failure-mode drills
- Drive security reviews — you treat an anon-grant IDOR as a fire, not a ticket
What we need
- 4+ years backend engineering with strong SQL/Postgres
- Security-first instincts: RLS, least privilege, secrets hygiene, webhook verification
- Experience with at least one payments provider integration
- TypeScript fluency (our functions are Deno)
Nice to have
- Supabase in production
- Upstash/Redis caching patterns
- Compliance exposure (DPDP / GDPR / SOC 2)
